This is an exquisite early Victorian silk wedding shawl with fabulous peacock fan foliage and leaf decoration. This shawl dates to circa 1860. It is a gorgeous deep cream almost golden colour.
There are some tiny holes and a small antique restoration, but they are not noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of this shawl. This shawl is in good condition for it's age.
This shawl measures 260cm x 53cm, this is a wonderful long length.
